Look at that Moon 2019

The “From Sunset to Appia” festival ended, dedicated this year to the moon for the anniversary of the fiftieth anniversary of the landing in 1969.

The evening events took place on Thursday 11 July, with the “All Stars Live!” Concert by the Italian Institute of Cumbia, Friday 12 July with Ascanio Celestini followed by the singer-songwriter Giulio Wilson and finally ended with a sold out on Saturday evening July 13 with Peppe Servillo and the Avion Travel.

A large and participating public took part in the three evenings in which a careful selection of texts and music was enhanced by suggestive plays of light and color projected onto the mausoleum of Cecilia Metella, on the walls of the Castrum Caetani and on the remains of the church of San Nicola.

Color Sound Service oversaw the set-up and technical assistance, providing an HL50 system for the main PA and eight L15X used as stage monitors.
